Men’s Hockey falls to Cornell at Madison Square Garden
The Boston University men’s hockey team (4-9-2, 3-5-2 Hockey East) lost 6-4 after taking the stage at Madison Square Garden to face off against Cornell University (8-1) for the eighth edition of Red Hot Hockey. Under the brightest lights, the Terriers and the Big Red put on a high-scoring performance where the scarlet and white ultimately could not keep up.

Women’s Hockey comes out on top in Battle of Comm Ave
The Battle of Comm Ave was reignited for the first time this season at Walter Brown Arena with a matinee matchup against the Boston College Eagles (8-5, 6-4 Hockey East). The Boston University women’s hockey team (7-5-3, 6-4-3 HE) came out on top with a 5-4 victory, and defended home ice with pride.
Men’s Hockey falls short in shootout to NU after valiant effort
The Boston University men’s hockey team (4-8-2, 3-5-2 Hockey East) headed down the street to Matthews Arena to face the Northeastern University Huskies (9-4-1, 5-3-1 HE), searching for redemption after an unrewarded effort in Friday night’s 0-1 overtime loss. In the final matchup of the two-game series the Terriers put together a cohesive and valiant performance, but fell short in the shootout. The game will be recorded as a 2-2 tie.
